This is sets includes zori and a matching clutch bag, for use when wearing a kimono. They are of excellent quality and were no doubt expensive when new. This set was made in the 1980’s.
This set is used but has no issues other than that the leather soles of the zori are soiled and show minor wear - they have been priced accordingly. They were most likely used once or twice and stored for many years
in original box they came in. See photos for details.
These Zori are a Japanese size 23.5cm, however in Japan, your foot is not expected to necessarily ‘fit’ in the Western sense and it is considered optimal to overhang the heal by a few centimeters.
The bag is made of stiffened brocade and has a clasp fastener and is fully lined with internal pockets and a chain that can be stowed inside when in use as a clutch...

acquired.
They came from the old kimono quarter of Kyoto where fine textiles have been produced for generations, world famous for it’s fine weaving and fabric design.
These are all vintage although some are unused, like new or have stains or other damage so

the photos carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it

value to you.

2) Standard Air Registered (INCLUDES TRACKING) but has a less predictable delivery time.

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
Note that as these measures are temporary, we can not change the existing rates for all of our hundreds of listings but will notify you immediately if it effects your purchase.
