This yarn-dyed samue is a purely domestic product woven in a Japanese factory. It is generally called yarn-dyed if it is woven after the yarn is dyed. Many inexpensive products made outside of Japan are fabric-dyed (white fabric dyed later), and their colorfastness is weak.
The inherent colorfastness of dyed products is called dyeing fastness. (JIS standard tests are conducted and graded from 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. This product has been verified to have a grade of 4 or higher, which is sufficient for cotton fabrics, so you can wear it with peace of mind.
