MADE IN JAPAN
It's a gorgeous accessory for obi.  You could wear it with a formal kimono like furisode for your wedding or coming of age ceremony.
It would make a wonderful graduation stole!!
There is a brocade of chrysanthemum that is dyed purple all along the length, except for the ends.
