5/8-18 Locknut Hi-Shear Six-Wing Lock Nut SW55-10

Description

5/8-18 extended washer lock nut, Hi-Shear Six-Wing SW55-10.  New government surplus repackaged from bulk.  No specs available at this time.  Non-magnetic, appear to be silver plated (see photos).  The tarnish removes easily with household tarnish remover (see last photo - for reference only).
Please note the tapered sides of the nut.  These require a special socket or wrench for optimum use which do not have.  A 13/16" six-point socket engages the base well enough to hold, but may not be sufficient for applying any significant torque.    Buyer's responsibility to determine it's suitability for it's intended or any other use.
